The Stylish Cappuccino outfit is a polished business casual outfit! It’s perfect for a coffee run on a mildly rainy day. Let me know in the comments below where you would wear this outfit to!
Table of Contents
The Sweater
I would get this sweater in tall sizing and size up 1-2 sizes for a truly modest oversized look. Turtleneck sweaters are a perfect winter layering item- I like this one for its straight fit so it doesn’t bunch up around the hip and waist.
The Pants
These are wide pleated cream pants. They’re a bit see-through so I would wear pant slips underneath like this one, or this one. They’re made out of lighter fabric so good for the warmer winter days, or if you know you’re going to be in a heated area. You could also wear fleece-lined tights underneath if you want to stay warm all the time!
The Coat
This is a water-resistant fake leather trench coat, perfect for rainy or snowy winter days. I like the tan color of the coat since it’s not an exact match to either of the pants or the sweater but it matches the color palette. You can also wear this without a belt for a more modest look.
The Heels
These heels are so classy! I like that they’re closed toe so your toes don’t show. I also like that it has a short kitten heel so it’s more comfortable to walk in and isn’t too flashy. These are a darker tan color so it introduces a fourth element of color to the outfit. I would recommend wearing them with opaque socks like these since it’ll look more professional but you can also wear it with casual socks if it’s too cold. Any beige/brown colored sock should work well.
The Hijab
We have four color shades in the outfit now, so it’s time to start drawing everything together by adding items that match. The hijab color I picked is meant to match with the heels. I would wear it tucked into the turtleneck or styled in a way that it fits neatly underneath the jacket. A chiffon hijab is a good choice for rainy days since it drys quickly if water gets on it.
The Accessories
For accessories I went with a large cream shoulder bag to match with the pants and help tie everything in together. It’s also made from fake leather so the texture matches with the trench coat with the added bonus of it being waterproof as well. It has a zipper which ensures that you won’t get water on your belongings! Also look at how big it is, you could fit anything you want in there and still have space for more!
The sunglasses are the final accessory, which I am now realizing are probably unnecessary if it’s raining outside. HOWEVER, it is not always raining and this outfit is meant to be worn for any weather so it still belongs in the outfit collage. I like these sunglasses since they match the coat and also the sides match the sweater!
