This outfit is a remix of the stylish alligator outfit but in red! I can’t decide which one I like more, let me know what you think in the comments below!

The Shirt

We’re starting off this outfit with a long sleeve mock neck base layer shirt. See this post for more details on why I picked this specific shirt!

For this outfit, a long sleeve base layer is necessary since the sleeves of the dress are transparent. I also went with a mock neck since the neck of the dress is a little too wide to be covered comfortably with just the hijab!

The Dress

This is a really cool midi dress. I like the bell sleeves a lot although they’re a bit transparent- they’re super long so the sleeves of the shirt underneath won’t stick out oddly. The slight ruffles on the bottom of the dress add a fun textural element to the outfit. It’s one of those short dresses that’s just made to be worn with a skirt underneath.

The Skirt

This skirt is what first prompted this remix! I really like the asymmetric hem and the color of the skirt is very barely red. It’s called metallic red, I believe. I also added a loose cotton skirt underneath which you can find here for an extra ruffle layer on the bottom, and also to increase the length of the skirt on the sides for modesty purposes!

The Coat

Guys this coat, I had to use it because it was the best thing I could find and I was getting tired of looking for dark red leather trench coats, but its $7,800 :0. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an item of clothing this expensive in my search so far. Anyways this outfit would pair well with a similar coat, if you find one that you think will work you can contact me or post it in the comments below!

The Boots

You can’t tell me these boots don’t compliment this outfit PERFECTLY, I refuse to believe otherwise. The vintage aesthetic is exactly the vibe of the outfit- the laces add an extra “complicated” pattern that interacts well with the leather texture of the jacket and adds more visual interest to the layers underneath. The heels are pretty short so they’re easy to walk in and comfortable!

The Hijab

I picked this dark red hijab to match with the skirt and the jacket. I like that it’s a bit brighter than the skirt so it doesn’t dull the outfit overall, but adds a nice visual bright spot.

The Accessories

For accessories I went with this cool black bag which which has textural elements that offset the plain textures of the rest of the items in the outfit! If you wish to add sunglasses to the outfit, consider going for sharp cat eye sunglasses like the ones featured in The Iconic Movie Outfit!
