The weather is starting to ease up and February is almost over, I gift you with this outfit since spring is around the corner! A little rhyme by me. As always let me know what you think of this outfit in the comments below!

The Shirt

We’re starting off this outfit with a long sleeve mock neck base layer shirt. See this post for more details on why I picked this specific shirt!

For this outfit, a long sleeve base layer is necessary since the sleeves of the sweater have holes in them. I also went with a mock neck to provide added modesty support around the neck but the actual shirt’s neckline is not that wide so you could forego the mock neck as well. To compensate for the double long sleeve layer I didn’t add a coat to this outfit, making it suitable for the cool spring days!

The Sweater

This is a textured crew neck sweater. The off white tone matches well with the brighter green, yellow, and pink spring colors which is mostly why I chose this. It’s a lighter sweater with holes in it so it’s perfect for the warmer winter days we start to get as we approach the spring. I also like the flowiness of the sweater with the long big sleeves which adds to the free spring vibe.

The Skirt

This skirt is so pretty! I’ve been trying to style patterned skirts more often and this one is definitely quite busy. Whenever I see a light green floral skirt my first thought is immediately spring so I wanted to match it with spring colors!

The Boots

I wanted something to match with the shirt so I decided to go with this pair of off white chelsea boots. These are perfect for rainy spring days!

The Hijab

Finding a hijab to match this outfit gave me a little bit of grief. Any of the lighter shades I initially wanted to go with (like pink or beige or light green) just didn’t seem right. I decided to go with a darker color to balance out the tones in this outfit and settled on this dark emerald green!

The Accessories

For accessories I went with a dark green bag to match with the dark green hijab. I wanted the bag to have yellow elements on it to match the spring vibe but couldn’t find anything suitable, the gold metal on the purse turned out to be just what I needed though. I also added a gold bracelet to match with the gold on the purse. I think gold and green is definitely one of the better color combinations out there!
