Ramadan Mubarak! I decided to start Ramadan by making an outfit you can wear to work and to taraweeh! Let me know what you think of this outfit in the comments below!
Table of Contents
The Shirt
We are starting off the base layer with an oversized button up shirt. This is perfect in case it gets too hot, you can take off the sweater and remain modest! I like the bottom of the shirt to stick out a bit underneath the cardigan to add an extra layer of modesty in the hip area, and this shirt comes in tall-sizing so you can wear it even longer if you would like, although I like the length as-is.
The Sweater
This is a simple beige turtleneck sweater. I like that the hem is not fitted so it won’t stick to the hip area. I would definitely recommend sizing up though for an oversized fit! I also like that the sleeves are somewhat baggy which helps when wearing an additional long sleeve layer underneath. Also the neckline is pretty loose so you can comfortably wear your hijab tuck inside! The length of this sweater is really nice as well as it falls below the butt!
The Pants
These pants are really nice and baggy! They fall straight as well and have an elastic for comfortable wear. I would recommend wearing long socks with these pants!
The Flats
Aren’t these shoes so pretty? They are perfect spring shoes! I really like the pink tweed pattern, it’s colorful but also it’s very subtle so it can match with a lot of things. I’ve had this on my shoe list for a long time now and I’m happy I finally got a chance to use them.
The Hijab
I picked this hijab to match with the shoes. Mauve and beige go really well together and the tone matches the darker stripes on the shoes! I also picked chiffon for a more airy fabric since it can get hot during taraweeh!
The Accessories
For accessories I picked a large dark pink bag to blend between the flats and the hijab. It can carry all your taraweeh essentials, from your Quran to your water bottle, comfortably! I also added these beige peach sunglasses which match the business vibe of the outfit!
