Long sleeve shirts for layering can be really annoying to deal with, so I propose this particular type of shirt to solve all the nuisances that normally accompany long sleeve layers.

Cotton fabric

This shirt is made out of 100% cotton which is the best material for layering! When you wear layers you run the risk of sweating more so it helps to have the lowermost layer be cotton, as it absorbs sweat and its smell very well.

Comfortable coverage

It’s pretty common to find cute maxi dresses or shirts with sheer sleeves, so these shirts are great to wear underneath. Also the mock neck provides good neck coverage without being uncomfortable- I personally find full turtlenecks to be suffocating, especially since you have an extra layer around your neck from the hijab.

Can be worn all-year

You can wear these shirts year round since cotton is a breathable fabric! In the summer they would make a good base layer underneath short sleeve shirts or really light (and sheer) fabrics. In the winter they work well underneath thick sweaters, like ones made out of wool, to help prevent any itchiness and maintain comfortable warmth!

When I have to wear long sleeve shirts this is definitely the kind of shirt that I reach for!
